Tell us about you! What are some things people might not know about you?

My family is like The Brady Bunch! (1 sister, 1 brother, 2 step-sisters, 1 step-brother, and 1 half-sister). I’d be Cindy because I’m the youngest.

I love music and if there is karaoke … it would be hard for me to say no! My favorite karaoke jams are “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston, “Girl Crush” by Little Big Town, “Creep” by Radiohead, and anything someone suggests!

And I’d love to learn how to play the piano!

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I like to watch movies, listen to live music, play board games with my family, and cook! I really enjoy cooking anything that does not have a huge list of ingredients — I try to keep it simple. My kids complain I cook too much chicken, though. 😊

Where do you like to travel?

I love Central America. And I would love to travel to Rome and Paris — I’m really up for anywhere I can meet new people, have great conversations, and have a good time.

What are three things you couldn’t live without?

I couldn’t live without my two kiddos, pizza, and Diet Coke!

What do you love about being a recruiter?

I’ve been with TotalMed for 4 years and really love our culture, work environment, and our Core Values, which include Integrity, Internal Drive, and Fun. Being part of a culture that strives to do things the right way is beneficial for everyone and really helps create a true partnership between travelers and recruiters.

Before joining the TotalMed Team, I worked in HR and recruiting for over 10 years and can honestly say working with travel nurses is my calling.

Learning about the travelers I have the pleasure of working with, why they travel, where they have been, why certain hospitals and locations were their favorite … it all takes a special place in my heart.

I love helping travelers navigate the travel world. Even if someone is working with another travel agency, I’m happy to take care of them. I love helping travelers understand how everything works — how to find affordable housing, land at a traveler-friendly location, explore fun events and things to do on days off, connect with other travelers.

Personally, being able to connect with the people I partner with and learn about their families, goals, dreams, and hobbies — that helps me ensure I am finding the best assignments for them!
