Tell us about you! What are three things people might not guess about you?
I started going to Juilliard when I was 11! I continued on through my Bachelors and Masters and studied piano and bassoon. I don’t really practice anymore, and I really didn’t much in college (oops), but I occasionally play piano for fun. If one is in front of me, I will play it 😊
I used to be a paramedic in NYC.
And I have two cats – Schrodinger and Max.
What are three of your favorite places to travel?
#1 is New York City — Home! The Upper West Side was and will always be my favorite part of the city. What I miss the most, besides the pizza, is how accessible everything is any hour of the day or night — whether it’s food, music, or culture.
I had the opportunity to travel a lot during my time at Juilliard . . . Verbier, Switzerland and Spoleto, Italy are on my top places to travel as well.
What are three things you couldn’t live without?
The New York Yankees, sushi, and real Italian food.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I’m a huge sports fan! Yankees, Bucks, and Giants — in that order 😉
What do you love about being a recruiter?
This job is very tough and presents its obstacles for sure. But, I find it very rewarding when an offer is accepted to a caregivers dream location! I love the teamwork it takes to see the process through from submittal to start.
This job also affords you the opportunity to meet new people. Some of the caregivers that I work with have become family to me! I’ve met one of my closest friends through this position – Janelle Manns – and we have worked together for nearly two years now!
