LICENSE BY ENDORSEMENT
As part of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, if you are licensed in Idaho, you are eligible to practice nursing in all NLC States.
Idaho is also a walk-through state for reinstatement. If you previously held a permanent license in Idaho, but your license has expired, you maybe qualified to receive a license by Idaho Board of Nursing on the same day you visit.
You must have proof of residence in a compact state in order to practice in a compact state. You will be asked to show a government issued ID (must include actual street address, such as a driver license) as well as an active RN license in a compact state.
Valley reimburses for state licenses with the following parameters:
- Valley is the first company the clinician is traveling or working for in that state (licensure only)
- The license was issued < 60 days of the clinician’s assignment start date
- Receipts are submitted to Valley within 7 days of the clinician’s start date
- The clinician completes a 13-week assignment with no fewer than 468 hours of work
